DIY- Project:

Owl Granny square

I feel like I'm crocheting all the time right now and the first thing I really finished was this owl granny square!

I just started crocheting, so it's not perfect and not really a square, but I think it came out pretty good for my skills!

What I found difficult about making it were the ears of the owl looking like they could be ears; the rest wasn't that hard at all, but of course it took me some time until I was finished.

If you want to see what inspired me: here is the original picture and pattern
(I didn't try to make mine similar to this one as I didn't have that many colours and different wool in first place; it was just an inspiration;))

It's waaay cuter than what I did, and there are more colours in it, but I still like mine though and mine's got wings, so I'd say that'd be a plus on my side;)

Here's the link for this crochet pattern, maybe you wann take a look on that site and try making it better than I did, and follow the instructions:) http://www.repeatcrafterme.com/2012/11/owl-granny-square-crochet-pattern.html

DIY- Project

Scarf

Hi Guys!
If you're reading this: Welcome to my blog!
This is my first real post, so it is kind of a test, but I hope you'll enjoy it anyways!

This post is the first one of several DIY- Projects that I'm going to do in the next month, and I'm presenting you the stuff that inspires me!

Now that it is cold outside, I fell in love with crocheted stuff like scarfs, jumpers, beanies... and I've already bought the wool for all my projects.
One scarf I especially like is this one:
I love the pattern and the colour is awesome as well! A tutorial for this scraf is on this site: http://myfavouritethingsblog95.blogspot.com.au/2012/10/a-unique-gift-chunky-infinity-scarf.html
So, what do you think about that?

I've already begun crocheting it, but I think it will take me a long time until I am finished, but when I am, I'll make a post about it;)
